FORMS*Facelift from Transenigma
Transform your Forms
Does your Forms system need bringing forward
to the next level? If so Forms*Facelift can create a stunning transformation
to your application in a very short time.
The Forms*Facelift service can take any application from any version
of Forms and upgrade it to run under the latest version (Forms 6i/9i).
Not only is the application upgraded, but huge advances can be made
to your user interface, operability and ‘look and feel’. |
 |
Start from any version
Forms*Facelift can work with both character
mode and GUI Forms. The converted system can be run in client/server
mode or web mode (9iAS), and can take whatever colour scheme and other
requirements requested by the customer.
Menus & Reports as well
Forms*Facelift provides a migration service
for the other legacy components that may comprise your application.
Examples of these are SQL*Menu 5.0, userexits, and reports written in
RPT, Reportwriter 1.1, Reports 2.5, or 3.0. Most applications needing
migration also have a reporting element, and it is important to bring
the whole system up to a similar level to maintain consistency.
Features
Forms*Facelift provides the ability to
transform many aspects of your application. Here is a list of the highlights:
- Add graphics and logos to screens to create
a web orientated look and feel.
- Change overall colour scheme and fonts
to give an up-to-date image.
- Attach boilerplate text as prompts to
the fields, the colour of the prompts can then be controlled.
- Apply property groups and visual attributes
through formal object-driven referencing
- Apply selected formatting rules to date
fields
- Provide the facility for a pop-up calendar
to appear on date fields.
- Set the object-driven properties so there
is a central point of control for all look and feel elements.
- All automated changes are performed via
the Forms API so the resultant forms are fully supported by Oracle.
Forms*Facelift also has the facility to
convert all of the field prompts to Soft-Prompts, this allows the movement
forward to a multi-site/multi-lingual application.
